Mission-Critical
Employees Rewarded for Working on Holidays If you have to work on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Day, your company loyalty may just pay off. The Bernstein Companies, one of Washington's oldest hoteliers, has launched a LOYALTY COUNTS program. Offered to select businesses in the Washington metropolitan area, the program rewards mission-critical employees who work on a holiday with a FREE NIGHT STAY at any one of their seven hotel properties in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. "We know the sacrifice employees must make to be away from home on these special family days," says Robert Klein, Vice President of the Hotel Division. "Loyalty is the lifeblood of business-a silent business partner. Employees should know how much their loyalty is appreciated. FREE NIGHTS to spend with loved ones, to make up-in some small way-for missing a holiday, just makes sense." Over 100 local businesses are participating in the program through their Human Resources Departments. The Bernstein Companies corporate office will distribute FREE NIGHT vouchers to HR Directors to present to their employees who work on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Day. Along with the vouchers, businesses received LOYALTY COUNTS posters, buttons and stickers to use in promoting the reward program to their employees. The seven Bernstein Companies' hotel properties participating are: the Courtyard by Marriott Embassy Row, Washington, DC; the Fairfield Inn Laurel, MD; the Best Western Annapolis, MD; Best Western Pentagon, Arlington, VA; Four Points Sheraton Pentagon, Arlington, VA; Bethesda Court Hotel Bethesda, MD; and The Park Inn International in Rockville, MD.
